"Jesus Loves Me!" It's the first Sunday school lesson, and one of the earliest songs that American children learn.
But for Christian children living in nations where believers are persecuted, this simple phrase takes on a whole new depth of meaning:
Jesus loves me...
... when my parents are beaten for their faith in Christ
... when my dad is imprisoned for being a pastor
... when my church is bombed
... when my very life is threatened

No matter what I'm going through, no matter what happens to me or my parents ... Jesus loves me. Teaching a persecuted child this deep truth is a very powerful thing.
In Sri Lanka, where Back to the Bible touches tens of thousands of lives daily, persecution is intensifying--even against children. School principals are actually calling Christian children up in front of the entire school and publicly humiliating them for their faith. And just weeks ago, five families were arrested, beaten and told to renounce their faith or lose their homes.
Our partners in Sri Lanka are committed to coming alongside little ones who are suffering under persecution and poverty ... offering them help to attend safe schools, to buy books, to cover the costs of special healthcare needs, and even to ensure they get proper nutrition.
What a blessing for these children--and it comes at what is really a very minimal cost considering the ministry: only $20,000 per year for the entire ministry.
In addition, our Back to the Bible leaders are organizing special kids clubs to preach God's Word to still more little ones, including non-Christians. Right now 90% of those attending are not yet believers.

Without further funding, this critical ministry to children cannot continue. Would you prayerfully consider a special gift to minister to children in these closed nations where Back to the Bible already has a ministry? Anything you could offer would be such a blessing to proclaim God's Word and demonstrate His compassion to children who urgently need to hear.
Help persecuted children by providing nutrition, safety & God's love.
