Back to the Bible International wants to give kids a hope for change in their eternity. And one way to provide that hope is to air special radio programs specifically for children. How easy it is, when we sing those simple lyrics, to think only sweet, secure thoughts. But as we know all too well, there are countless children in our world today for whom there is no sweetness or security. How desperately they need to hear that Jesus loves them!
Displaced Children
Imagine life in Sri Lanka, a country ravaged by a vicious conflict between government forces and Tamil guerillas. The long-running war is having a devastating effect on the innocent children caught in the midst of the conflict. Apart from those directly affected, killed or injured, many more are displaced from their homes or are subject to abduction or recruitment by warring factions.
Because of all the tension in the nation, there's been a major breakdown within families. Alcohol and substance abuse in Sri Lanka is a nationally recognized problem. Children live daily with stress and fear, and because there is so much turmoil in their lives, they think of God as distant and uncaring. Back to the Bible is not content to sit idly by as these children slip through the fingers of society.
Introducing Hope for the Children

In Jesus, these children are discovering life--real life, eternal life, abundant life. No doubt feeding a child food has great benefit, but feeding a child spiritually has eternal benefit.
